1.            Continental Breakfast & Registration 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
 
2.                  Opening Session 9:00 a.m. – Glyn Smith called the conference to order and led everyone into the pledge of allegiance. Glyn introduced the vendors present at the conference. Glyn then turned it over to Frankie Denmark, SCUCC secretary.
 
3.                  Speakers/Panel Discussions:
a.                  Jerry Pate, SC Telephone Association
b.                  Nick Zembillas, TBE - Avoiding Utility Relocation
c.                  Panel Discussion, Exploration of solutions to an increased underground presence in a shrinking ROW.
d.                  Presentation, Technological improvements and their impact on various businesses.
e.                  Panel Discussion, Discussion of problems and possible solutions through new technology.
f.                    George Bollinger, CommScope - Toneable Conduit
g.                  Tommy Carol, Carol Enterprises – Trenchless Boring & Pipe Bursting
h.                  Reed Cooper, Horry Electric – Mapping Update
 
4.                  Several door prize drawings were awarded throughout the day.

5.                  The NCUCC March 31st account balance per our Treasurer is $634.20. There are no outstanding invoices or checks.
 
6.                  The NCUCC will host next year’s joint conference at the Hilton Riverside, Wilmington, NC.
 
7.                 NCNG will host our next NCUCC meeting July 8, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in New Bern, NC. Directions are below:
 
Coming from Kinston going towards New Bern you would exit off US 70.  NCNG’s office is located off US 70 at the Clarks Neck Rd. (SR 1225) exit.  Turn Right at the top of the ramp.  Just past the rest stop you will turn left onto Executive Park Way.  The office is the last building on the right.
